Lifeline Darling Downs is holding their Stress Down Day Friday July 24 to promote happiness, encourage help-seeking, and raise awareness of suicide prevention while raising funds for Lifeline Darling Downs and South West Queensland Ltd. This week in 1969 on the 20th of July history was being made with pictures broadcast on B & W TV of Neil Armstrong walking on the moon. In the words of Neil Armstrong "One small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind" forever remembered.

Empire theatre hosts the Cool Nights Big Band Saturday 25th from 8pm.
